Well.. This tree was waiting for recovery from collection, and had my nametag on it. A few weeks I received a message that the tree was released and deemed healthy again, and I could buy it if I still wanted it. As it was around my birthday I felt.. Yes, lets soil myself.. Not the scissors for scale.

I promise I will try and keep this thread updated, not like some of the other progression threads I have here....

Happy birthday. What kind of pine is it? Looks like a fun project.

Well.. I am really trying to hold back in getting more trees. I *think* it was my second purchase this year (Compared to 10 selling, one might think I am on the right track. But that would be ignoring layering, cuttings, seed..)

Very nice tree Jelle and congrats on your birthday.

Do you plan on a cascade style for this tree?
I assume this is a yamadori tree, do you know where it was collected?

Very nice Pine - I'd soil myself too for a nice tree like that...

Happy B-day!
