It is scots pine.
I want to plant it in a shallower container, so I burried the surface roots deeper, in an attempt to get them stronger. Next report I might then be able to shave part off of the rootball.

This was in a garden a few days ago. Today I saw it on the roadside and I asked what the plan was. Well.. Lucky me.. Their trailer was full yesterday, so it was not in the municipal dump yet. But that was the final destiny. Now.. It might still end up there. But if nt, this will get an individual thread. But that is for spring to tell.

Spent some 2 hours plucking, pruning and wiring a picea forest I inherited when I bought a nice Sperling pot.
Now I am wondering whether this little forest does deserve a decent pot, even though I bought the pot for another tree, and the wiring was just for fun so I can pass the forest on to someone else. Hm.. Dilemmas.
