Lavender star flower

Can anyone tell me that Latin name for Lavender Star Flower?
I've had one for a year and it's currently blooming like crazy and it bloomed all last Summer.
I'd like to see some pictures of other's tree, shrub or plants... I need inspiration and idea's for shaping...I'm kind of in the dark as to how I want it to look... I know in Africa, it's often used as a hedge or screening shrub.

Here's the Nicest one I've seen. I have one but it's nothing to look at. I'm still devolping it in my mind.


Plan on chopping it back hard this spring.

So here's a Grewia post.
History- Started from a cutting 1991. Nurtured as a flowering ornamental by my mother until 2012. I would give periodic haircuts once or twice a year on my visits. These haircuts implied bonsai. The grow was always long and leggy because of how the flowers form. First pic was after putting it into an available bonsai pot and a severe pruning Dec 2, 2012.
