You're wrong.
My point is not that all guns will be taken away. My point is that government does not know when to stop. And more government is never the answer.

Criminals don't abide by laws, you can make as many stupid laws as you want and the criminals aren't even going to know those laws exist.

many americans do not trust their govt. that culture has existed for 200+ years now and i dont think that will change. our gun rights dont center around hunting. the thought that our govt only has our best interest at heart, can be trusted, wont overstep their power or abuse it is ludicrous to many people. (whether you agree or not - its part of the reason for our so called gun culture).

and although no one here is suggesting to ban all guns, that means nothing to folks here who have seen politicans slowly chipping away at gun rights for decades now - its as big of a knee jerk reaction among gunowners as calls for gun control are from the left after a shooting.

I hear you man, but wow! I mean I have huge doubts about my government, but I can just head north into the woods. I never once thought I need to be armed to the teeth to fight back my own government. I guess it is just a difference in how our cultures developed.

id like to head into the woods quite often myself. its not just about fear of tyranny. for many its about independence and self reliance - not wanting to rely on the govt to decide whats best for you or to protect you.

unfortunately we dont have much of a north woods to run into to get away from our govt.

and no matter where you sit politically - its kinda hard to argue that they have mucked things up quite abit over the years.

It is super easy to convert a legal semi-auto ar-15 to full auto and if you have 10 of them loaded, like was reported, and ready, you could prob get off about 300 rounds in less than 4 mins

and highly illegal - but criminals dont care.

youll get much harsher sentencing just for violating nfa, than breaking in someones house and stealing.

How old are you Dav? If your not at a minimum of 60 you will never understand why this happens. You got to have lived in the time before 50 years ago to understand the moral decay of America. If you don't understand that then blaming it on " buying into BS " is being trapped by your own trappings of what the media allows you to know.

Not quite 50... and what you wrote is a cop out as far as I'm concerned. Tell me what I don't know or haven't experienced so I can fully understand where you're coming from.

I have a sister and my husband both over 60, not to mention my mother who is in her 80s I am going to ask them to see if they know what the hell you're alluding to. Mainly to see if they habe the same perspective as people over 60.

You'll all be waiting a long time if you expect anything other than deflection, cop-out, jokes...you're not going to get anything of substance from any of these folks.
 
I just heard a live caller on the radio saying that he used to live next door the the guy who they are calling the shooter.
Very long story short....he didn't do it, is what the guy said.
Add in the fact that there were other shootings right beforehand on the other end of the city, to divert police and swat....
This was a well orchestrated event of terror.
There are more, bigger players involved, and we may never know the truth, because it's already a set up.

Just some info.....

This will be picked up by more media outlets soon.
