be careful if you buy knipex... There are some models that are poorly designed for what we do... look at the two areas circled in red in this photo...avoid designs like this!
There are other models available from knipex that are not designed this way and have a cutting edge along the enter length of the blade...it may be the difference between wire cutters and bolt cutters???

I would agree if they would be using the cutters for cutting wire on the trunk of a tree. But if they are using them for what Ryan does, to cut heavy gauge wire while wiring a tree this shouldn't matter. The bolt-cutter design is what they are actually looking for.
