Large urban-dori yew

Definitely sorry to hear :(.

In hindsight; would you have done anything differently if you can turn back time?

To keep the big Taxus trend going, I'll be posting my Yew soon after I finish compiling the images...
 
I'm so sorry. I feel your pain. Several decades back I transplanted a 50-old camellia that was a beast to move. It was going to be razed when an old nursery was in the path of development, and though I managed to keep it alive for a year with pampering, it still died. It's tough when you put that much blood, sweat, and tears into something, even though you know it may be a long shot - and then it dies.
 
The silver lining to this dark cloud is that no roses were harmed in the process. :p
The neighbor never dug up the roses!

That whole lot is now a giant hole in which a sturdy concrete foundation is being built.
