Yep.... They were turned but you should see the size of the copper wire it took to bend the handrails around to fit....LOL

It will be Friday when I pop it out of the form....I'm sure I'll have some smoothing out to do but I'll post pics just how it comes our of the form....I might even shoot a video.

60 lbs will be empty....I may turn the monkey pole it sits on into a turn-table.....I need another project to figure out.

It turned out great, if I say so myself....

I just couldn't wait till tomorrow....I figured from what I have read 3 1/2 days was enough cure time....I do have it sitting in the shade covered with wet towels. So here it is fresh out of the form. The inside form was a little tuff to get out but overall it came out nice....I think I will smooth it out some and maybe stain it a dark charcoal grey.

Nice.

3.5 days is enough to strip the forms but not nearly cured yet. You need a month almost to hit optimal curing. Keep it hydrated until then!

I'll coat the inside so leaching should not be a problem. I will wait a week before slip potting the juniper into it. Still got to figure out how to make the monkey pole it sits on into a turn-table.

I'll pull out the karting scales and see what it weighs this weekend.

I finally got around to finishing the pot....I stained the outside and sprayed the inside with plastic-dip...Now I just got to get the juniper into it's new home.
