When I was young, we played basketball right next to the police station.....sometimes bad stuff happened, they took the hoops down, to effectively scatter about 40-50 kids out into hiding, to cause trouble, when it all could have been maintained with a holler down from the stoop of the station.
This thread reminds me of that park!
The only question I'm left with is wether or not it was on purpose.
It wasn't long after that we had our first of a string of shootings, murders, hostage taking, and other random shit, committed by people I knew played at that park.
