I tellya. When 2.... NOT ONE BUT....2.. branches of this honker busted OFF
COMPLETELY
last fall when I stuck it in the pot, I figured "oh hell."
I mean they came OFF in my hand when I was wiring.
SNAP! CRACKLE! POP!

but within seconds of the accident, I got the MOSTEST busted one right back into the fibers of where it came off and the other was just a BAD split.

Some tape, sealer, and a supporting wire tether and now....this spring.... they have taken back up and are adding buds and not getting messed with AT ALL!

Except for loosening the one binding wire to avoid stopping circulation.

But man, these things seem to be indestructible.

This is a pic of a month or so ago and there is more foliage now.

Just tweaking ends and hoping for some more width in the pads.

But...... LUCK-EEE is the word.

So the pot's too big. Too bad. It seems happy. :)

Give it to @sorce he'll test your indestructible theory.

Glad to hear you have good luck with junis....it's been the most frustrating species for me so far....
I got a little procumbens nana this year that seems to be tough... we'll see.

Well, when I first got it and was stressing about rootbinding Vance told me not to "baby it."

It does happen. That lowest branch needs to go in my opinion.
Different view tells me maybe not.

Anyhow I asked it if it wanted to go and it told me no because I'll probably bust it off in a mishap anyway. ;)

Mike....

Can we please see that last pic....
From the other side?

Leaning towards you.....

That could be your front....

Suggestions duly noted. Mentioned them to tree and were rejected.
Juni says she will turn for no one!
She told me to step behind the pot if I wanted to look at her backside.
She's not mad, though. Just touchy I guess.
