I bought my bonsai from a small stand set up outside a local gardening store and after further inspection of the soil, it seems to have a mix of potting soil, sand and a bit of bark. From what ive read this seems like a good mix for a juniper but it still retains a ton of water, im thinking maybe they didnt mix the right amounts of each?? I would like to mix my own soil instead of going the premaid route. Can you guys drop some knowledge on me and let me know what I should get?
