Jim Doyle stolen tree

This message just came over on Facebook. Jim Doyle (Nature's Way nursery) has had a theft. If you're in the N.E. U.S. keep an eye out for it and call the freaking cops. I'd bet this is a felony theft (value over $2,000 in Pa.). Not a misdemeanor...jail time or $1500 fine...hopefully

I wonder who the intended customer is for stolen trees? I would hope that anyone who would be willing to pay market rate could recognize the situation due to the asking price or sellers lack of knowledge of the provenance.

I don't think they're capable of planning that far ahead. Thieves can be clever, but they usually lack common sense.
