Yup. Bonsai is not normally about the big show with a flash and a bang where a master takes a whip and turns it into a majestic tree. It is about planning and techniques applied continuously over long timeframes. Aging happens naturally with the passing of time. The shape in which it ages is up to the person handling the tree (And the odd raccoon, dog or windgust having alternative plans, of course)
