JBP from a small backyard nursery (Thanks Reddit (for once))

Found a local guy who has a cool little nursery in his backyard here in WNC (Candler) and has a lot of pre bonsai stuff picked this up and looking for any advice for a first time with JBP.

Figured at the very leas you guys can appreciate the pic 🤷‍♂️.

your pine is very young and very immature. You can grow almost anything from what you now have.
Need o decide what standard you want to aim for. That will influence what you might do next.
Personally, I'd be growing it on to get some thickness to work with. That will probably involve a sacrifice trunk/ branches and maybe 5-10 years. While that's happening you'll need to absorb as much about pine growth and development as you can. Letting them get away is not good for future bonsai.

yeah it's only like 4 years old.
