Is this just lower branches becoming shaded our or is there a deeper underlying problem?

Ground grown by mauro stem berger, unfortunately I don't know when it was dug etc. But I only got it in Feb

Possible climate difference as it is much sunnier in Italy I am sure!



It seems to be starting at the inside of branches leaving a little green at the end, the top seems healthy

Junipers still grow well in sunny UK so I doubt this is solely related to the change in climate.
If you suspect shading does that indicate all the problems are lower branches? The final photo isn't much help as the camera has chosen the pot to focus on so the branch is unclear.
Another possibility is that the tree suffered some trauma, possibly dehydration, at some stage. Junipers typically don't show signs for many weeks after the event so it can be hard to remember back and pin a cause to the effect. Junipers often choose to shed the least vigorous branches and foliage with minor dehydration and those lower branches are typical candidates.
No sign of mites or other insect pests?

The rest of the tree appears to be healthy so I would not be too worried at this stage.

Yes it was only a couple lower branches that all appeared under stronger branches

And no signs of any pests
