I would just hate it to get to the point where someone would post pics of their tree... and if someone else didn't like the design or didn't agree with something that was said, they would never speak up, for fear of being "ignored" out of the thread.

Then suddenly we have "ignore wars" where people are blocking content from each other as punishment. Trust me, it would happen

SAM, you're limiting yourself to only "one" view, your view. Failing to recognize views on a continuum is polarizing. Have you ever thought about a Cheetah chasing Antelope? They will only chase "so far" then they recognize a caloric deficit.

And it stinks... it stinks really bad! And once the smell gets in your nose it makes you want to throw up vowels and predicates as well... and the next thing you know we are all going Bluuugh... Bluuugh... Bluuuuugggggghhhhhhh...

I've found the ignore feature to be lacking on all forums I've been to. I frequently block assholes or the ignorant, ones I don't want replying to my posts but they still get to reply and I get a notice that they have. I really hate this, they could be talking crap about me or what I'm saying and I would have no idea, this seems like a reward to me.

I have no issue with a blocked person reading my posts and seeing what other people are posting but I'd like it if they were blocked from replying to threads I have created. I have no issues with someone seeing a "you have been blocked and can't post on this persons threads".

FYI, I haven't blocked anyone here yet. Not seen any reason too, you are all reasonable adults so far

But, seriously... First let me say that if there is anyone who needs to grow a pair... the least likely candidate would be me. I know you are kind of new here, but I think my track record of freely speaking my mind on just about every occasion, regardless of whether or not I am going to take heat for it, has pretty much been a standard of how I do biz, since the day I first joined here.

I have ruotinely made comments and post threads that go against the grain and will continue to do so, if I feel that they are incorrect. And I am most certainly proud of the fact that yes, am not part of the "club". Don't want to be... this isn't a social gathering for me... just a place to talk Bonsai.
