Don, I'm curious - have you worked/developed any of these yourself (past this "stump" phase), or do you pretty much sell them all at this point?

I'll check for some old photos. They grow very quickly.

The one in the photo below is Bill Valavanis' tree. This will give you an idea of what you can do with them, although I don't know how long his tree has been in development. He has done a great job.

Thanks...I'm very familiar with that tree, one of my favorites of his (and it sparked my original interest in the species). The bark is amazing. I would think that is quite an old specimen.

People grow jbp in Florida, Texas, Southern Louisiana, etc.

The growing conditions are the same. The only difference is with growth: shorter, stiffer needles, shorter distance between internodes, and more budding.

That is absurdly high! It should be the cost of a medium flat rate priority box USPS or less. So, that's $12.35 or less in shipping, regardless of what the ebay shipping calculator says.
