Thanks. Then I will just take care of it hoping it won't explode and grow to the ceiling. I've seen some natal plum guides here gonna read those too. Quite interesting to see that it has good shape and potential kinda makes me not want to waste it. On the other hand I fear if I cut something randomly I'll make it worse. I can keep you updated about future growth maybe you have some more ideas how to cut it.

Also I heard you can eat it. How can I make flower then fruit?

I have one that fruited. I tasted it, nothing special. The flowers, on the other hand have a wonderful fragrance. Mine flower in the summer, so if you can get it outside once nighttime lows are 50 degrees F or above you will probably get flowers. Nice, healthy looking plant.

Then I will do that. I have small outdoor space to the South. Balkon, don't know english word. I'll put it there in Summer and hopefully get flowers. I don't know what the fruit taste like I was just curious. Here in germany nobody knows this plant and especially not the fruit so it would be nice to try it at least.

It's quite funny. I was searching on ebay Kleinanzeigen, which is a german website where you can buy and sell local stuff, for natal plum. Whole country - got 0 results. Not a single one being sold at the moment. By comparison if you search for yucca or citrus tree you get around 10.000+ results. Nobody here knows what this is and I only knew once I've been told. Never heard of that plant before

Wenn man es zusammen schreibt bekommt man 1 Ergebnis. Wenn man es getrennt schreibt bekommt man 0. Ich hab's vorhin getrennt geschrieben. Trotzdem krass

Best advice is to learn to grow it for a year. Do no pruning, no cutting, for at least one year. During that time read bonsai websites and materials. Your natal plum is good quality material, do not spoil it by trying to cut before you have a good plan.

Natal plum will flower when they get enough sun. The more sun, the happier the natal plum will be.
