IBC 93 Bonsai Pot

Does anyone know if IBC made bonsai pots? I purchased this pot from a friend but neither one of us know what it is. It has IBC 93 written on bottom with some Chinese or Japanese letters.

This pot is likely a commemorative pot made for the 2nd World Bonsai Friendship Federation's World Bonsai Convention/Bonsai Club International's International Bonsai Convention in 1993. That show was in Orlando. Fla.

Don't know the potter, but I know commemorative pots were made for those shows.

you're welcome. The "IBC" here is NOT the Internet Bonsai Club. It is the International Bonsai Convention. Back in the 90's, Bonsai Club International (BCI) and the WBFF were holding international shows with some synergy between them. My memory is shot on the details, however.
