Uhhh, actually we cheated, we ran out of locally dug an processed clay. My son dug and processed it last year, before getting bolts and hardware installed on 9 of his vertebrae. His spine would have made a nice bonsai, not such a good shape for a kid. We bought a 50 lb block from Blick. Can’t remember the name. I think it had terra cotta in it.
The light clay is supposed to be a pretty stable Reiki blend. We will see next fire.
I like the little figures he makes for his trees.

It was a skinny little 4 footer. I caught it and took it to work to let it go. My daughter got a kick out of it.
