Hello,
Any tips for air-layering a large horizontal juniper branch?
From what I understand, auxins/hormones/roots will "sink" and really only form on the underside. Is it possible that will be sufficient and then I can re-wound the top side after separating the layer and orienting more vertically?
Would a 6in long underside "strip" work for a raft-style planting? I would still cut a full collar all the way around, but then also a strip along the bottom for more roots to form.
Any thoughts are welcome, thanks!![20230606_084846.jpg 20230606_084846.jpg](https://www.bonsainut.com/data/attachments/481/481579-467aead3a38165763baee8f51dec224e.jpg?hash=Rnrq06OBZX)
