My hokkaido Elm I acquired recently. 20-25y.o. Just trimming it one year at a time! As everyone has said, very delicate branches and clip and grow!

Wish I could have, I was out of country for half a month right after I got it, and my wife was watching over it for me.

When my wife is in charge, I just ask that she keep them alive. She's getting better!! There's probably still time to do a trim.
