Here ya go tropical lovers....

I think many of us have affinities for particular species of trees that are developed in large part from our memories and experiences.

I would agree.....

Having spent a lot of time in south florida I have been around a lot of ficus trees. They are either taking over another tree after germinating in the elbow of a branch, or they are spreading their tendril like roots EVERYWHERE . They're like a monster in the movies you just can't get rid of....

I like to see either graceful feminine trees or very rugged masculine trees. To me ficus in general exhibit neither of these characteristics very well...so I guess they are androgynous! LOL:D

Just for information on price differances between bonsai in the USA and Australia. Most of these trees in aus would be 4 figures. 2 would be closer to 5! if i was in the USA i would pick them up without a heartbeat been a tropical fan partly due to my climate.
