Welcome...glad bonsai pulled you back in.

Now...I'll say this. Scott Lee built the bones to mine. He warned me not to put it into a shallow pot. They need deeper pots for health he warned me.

I've also read...they dry out...you get dieback and it will drop branches. So that shallow pot...I truly would reconsider. Especially just getting back into the swing of things and gaging watering and what have you.

Best fall color...you did good on your selection for species. ... Erin pot.

Ah yes, I've stalked that ginkgo bonsai from your posts
The pot I have in mind is bow-shaped, a little deeper towards the middle, and about 13" round.
