Hello,
I am just starting my first Bonsai. I purchased a Hawaiian Cherry Indoor tree. It is untrained and currently stands about 18-20" with a canopy about 16-20". I was curious if this type of tree can be trained like Juniper trees. If so, can I use floral wire doubled up to do the training, as the branches and trunk are not very thick. If not, do I just trim the tree and keep it in a small pot, repotting to the same pot and trimming the rots to keep the tree healthy every 3 years?
Thank you in advance for the help.
