Hey all,



Thought I would share the work I did on a Green Island Ficus. It stands about 10 inches tall now with a 2 inch base.

Here is the tree before pruning:

Now to let it grow.

Any comments?
 
Not much in the way of rootage, but here's the tree as of today:

Thinking about removing that growth that's blocking the trunkline, and going with this:

look like it's on the right track. Just MHO the branches on the left have alot of growing to do to become 1/4 to 1/3 of the trunk's thickness so removing any unwanted growth somewhere else should speed things up. Is the wound up top closing up yet?
