Grape need a coiffeur :)

The trunk is 9cm, now the pot is a round 30cmx10cm too big of course

Any suggestion about the size of the cascade pot ? I can print with 3d printer after design one, but i have no idea about the size.
A fellow 3d printing enthusiast lol. Id say look up a nice cascade tree and follow the trunk-to-pot ratio from that.
Try something simple for a start: https://pin.it/125c88b

Eheheh, I print some pots with ASA filament and they are fantastic.
Ok I will make some plan, but I will have a larger pot to have also some cultivation and not foe exhibition, they are of course perfect as a size but I love a watere buffer during the summer :)

I never heard of ASA. I print mine with PLA+. I love grapes myself. I'm hoping the seeds I potted last year germinate this year.

One idea but still a little more bent on the right to avoid the straight line of the live vein, but I am horrible with virtual
pot square with round edges 20x12 cm

Come on Max, you can print anything you can imagine. Let's get creative!
Ehehehe I am not so good in 3d modeling, I am in a phase where I can modify others works ahahahaha

Does the trunk not too straight? I would maybe tilt it in the pot to give it a little lean?
The trunk is not so straight, the left straight is the part i added in paint, but as I said yes need to lean a little bit more on the side right on this pov

Hi there, the plant is pushing well despite the horrible weather here in Switzerland, I have also a grape.
Should I cut the grape branch back, say 4 leafs after th fruit ? Now is 1 mt long :)

What material do you use to print your pots?
I know for a fact that regular PLA is very unsuitable for outdoor conditions.

I have a lot of experience with CAD modelling and printing. If you need anything let me know.

I wish I can model some pots, but I don't know anything about modelling...
But we are not so far, if you need a pot I can print for you.
For the pot I use either ASA or ABS, both of them are very stable to UV, high temperature and frozen.
The pots looks good, and I think that since there is air inside the pot's wall ( I use an infill of 15%) they are very good to isolate the roots from warm or cold.
