Goyomatsu Japanese White Pine Available?

If it is a 5 needle pine (hard to tell based on the picture) I think it is a Pinus Strobus (Eastern White Pine) based on the long needles.
I would almost put money on that. My home here in Maine is surrounded by pinus strobus and this looks EXACTLY like a young EWP… needles, lanky growth, all of it. @WavyGaby if this is what you’re looking for id be happy to send you a box of seedlings if you cover shipping. I have tons of nicely stunted 2and 3 y.o. seedlings that volunteer in the gravel drip edge around my house. I can post some pics later.

Hey, yashu, thanks for the input and offer. I'll hold off on getting more for now but I really appreciate it.
It's hard to think it was sold to me incorrectly but I think yall are right about it being Strobus after I compared a strobus side by side. Let's compare pics later, too. I would love to see a developed one if yall have pics.

@ShimpakuBonsai, @roberthu , @yashu.

Here is the P.strobus I just bought. The needles are a bit more green than the suspect but I think that is just growing conditions.

strobus buds. They look a little more red but similar shape to suspect.

Suspected imposter pine buds. They are a little more brown and grey in person. Probably still P. Strobus though. I plan on following up with a fella that worked at the nursery back when I bought it.

That’s actually mixed forest but the majority is EWP.

Yea, it's weird. I have one JWP I bought for $10 about 5 years ago. Not sure of variety. I wish I had bought more. How many of yours survived?

I wrote to Adams Bonsai and he is also out of JWP saplings. I got on the waitlist for Zuisho and he said it would be next year or possibly the following just to get one!

Also, I realized and want to clarify that Goyomatsu is japanese for Japanese White Pine. I am not looking for any particular variety at this time. View attachment 503759
this is a eastern white pine 100% i have them all over my yard like weeds.

with this shortage of japanese white pine, more people should try out southern western white pine (Pinus StrobiFORMIS) not to be confused with Pinus Strobus. Strobiformis seems appropriate for bonsai and very underappreciated. I'm not sure if it has any issues that make it harder to keep as a bonsai but this one on Mirai looks great https://bonsaimirai.com/bonsai/southwestern-white-pine-no-1 . Let me know what you guys think and if Pinus Strobiformis is perfect for bonsai and just has been overlooked this whole time or if it has issues making to harder to turn into bonsai, thanks
