Fused Trunk Ficus microcarpa progression

I wrapped six ficus cuttings together with zip ties in 2017. They fused after one year.

Yes. The young plants I bought looks similar to this, wrapped with textile. You just need to wrap bottom part with transparent tape for few years. As they thicken, they fuse together. Easy project and very rewarding
