This is my accident prone bonsai. She's been through a lot over the past few years. Basically, being planted in the ground subjected her to tromping dog feet that did a real number on her growth and form. But that is her story, her road to bonsai. I created the exposed roots but the rest of it was all by a lot less than design.

I have no idea! Maybe my post should have included that. I need to get a better picture. It will be in bloom soon. Those pics will be fun to do.

I don't think so but it is possible. I will take better pictures in the morning. Hopefully that helps.

Looks like Azalea or Daphne flowers emerging? Whatever is is flowering and small leaves. A BIG plus.

Yes I think it is Daphne! That's it. I want to buy more of these. Seems very slow growing, but mine has had a tough life. Ha!
