Well.. a lot of BC bonsai end up par-formal upright... And good ones are fairly large...
I THINK it is @Cadillactaste who has an AWESOME non conventional BC bonsai... I can't remember EXACTLY, though.

Franco has a tiny high root that looks like a puppy tail. I thought about pruning it off but have not done it yet because it is funny.

Based on the tremendous growth I see in other BCs, Franco was moved to a dunk pot 4/24/2023. The soil level was lowered and the high puppy tail root cut to show more of the big base.
