Flowers 2024

I've only seen them in one area around here so far, they are cool, it's like tiny flowers within the flower.🙂

They are childhood first spring flowers.
I understand colts foot is from the leaf shape looking like a horse hoof print. In the old country they are called mother-n-stepmother, because the underside of the leaf is warm and fuzzy, but the top is sleek ans cold to the touch. 🙂
Pushkinia for a pic...

I'm slightly mopey because the little wild plum sapling I planted last summer likely got sprayed. 😓 The property manager sends someone around a couple times a year to hit the xeriscape/gravel front yard with herbicide, and they were a bit early this year.
I wish they'd just let me know ahead of time, in stead of me just coming home one day to find yellow flags and the rocks painted green.🙄

Anyways, spider plant trying to cheer me up.☺️

Dendrobium orchid, for the orchid insiders Latouria section hybrid. Individual flowers will last 4 to 6 months, sometimes longer. Sadly they are shy, tend to look at the floor, and have no fragrance. Easy to grow with half day sun and frequent water, no dry rest.

Cyclamen I bought at the grocery store today.
The petals are less recurved than usual and the sepals are whitish and contrast sharply with the petals. Not sure I'll be able to keep it alive...
