Well now I can die a happy man. Omya was amazing. Visited the museum and the nurseries. Picked up some super small pots. In any case the highlight of the day was a trip to Master Kimura's house. He was nice emough to ask one of his aprentices to give us a tour. The place was beyond my wildest dreams. I'm posting some pics for you guys.

It somewhat boggles personal mind that our friend Ryan Neil worked on some or many of those wonderful trees as apprentice there. Wonderful boggling indeed.

Sadly no . The last bonsai oriented stop i have is Koju-en tomorrow.

The pictures of Kojuen bring back fond memories. My wife and I walked there from the train station and found it with the help of several local guides who volunteered each time we looked lost. Several of my treasured pots were selected from the myriad of extras stored beneath the display benches. Unfortunately I was unable to take any tree's home to Canada.
I was blown away by the quality of the show pots in the little display room. So glad others get to share your experience, thanks for the photo's.
