First Club Meeting...

Hello All,
I am new to bonsai and stumbled across our local bonsai club site. Well the date has come and I am attending my first meeting tonight. Is there anything special I should know before hand? I have been to koi club meetings, reef club meetings, as well as many other types of meetings, just as I am new to bonsai and don't know any of the members personally just have no one to ask what I might expect... Thanks for the help

My parents taught be to never touch unless I can pay what it's worth... which in bonsai could be a house payment or 4...

I took some trees to s meeting, and a newbie just couldn't keep his hands off! Sure, he was excited to see nice bonsai, but he could break needles, bend wires, knock off bark, etc.

Make sure to ask the entire group what the best soil and fertilizer is. Also ask about superthrive. That should get things going!
