I have general question about fertilizing in the fall/winter. My understanding is you should decrease the amount of N for your conifers/evergreens, but would it be ok to just feed with some 20-20-20 at half dose? Or should I get some liquid seaweed or something with no N?

Deciduous trees can be off fertilizer completely until spring, correct?

Thanks!

There are a couple recent threads on it...

And some from last year.....

Fert till leaf fall, then not after.

No need to reduce N.

I reckon that's a myth from people cutting trees too late.

I try to stop cutting after July.
