I use a time release fertilizer called dynamite on all my trees. You can find it at Home Depot.

I like shake and feed and use it myself.
Easy to use and water soluable. Many of the time release are also heat regulated and that is a problem for me being in a desert climate.

Your tree does not care what brand of fertilizer or which delivery system you use. All it wants is NPK and trace elements, so read the label.

MY best advice is the advice given by Walter P. Buy whatever is cheapest in the garden store when you need to replenish your stock.
