Fall color 2024

In my experience, chojubai seem to flower at odd times of year. I'm currently out of town but seem to recall seeing flower buds swelling on one of mine last week. We'll see when I get back this week.

I've got two chojubai... both have lost their leaves but one is pushing new growth while the other (pictured here) is about to bloom

Fall comes late out here, so a couple of my trees are starting to show some color (sweet gum and shishigashira)!

One of my sweetgums doing what they do best even if they aren't perfect bonsai subjects, they have amazing fall color. I missed peak color on my hornbeams, but there is also nice color on my trident this year!
