Hello all,

I've been out of the hobby for quite a while, mostly just keeping my trees alive and putting off work until later.

My Chinese Elms are kind of a complete mess, and I'm not sure what to do with them. I know they need to be cut back, and probably quite severely, but I'm not sure *where*. Wondering if anyone can offer me some sage advice!

thats a lot of branches on both, i would start by getting rid of big heavy straight branches, or at least reduce them and take the secondary shoots back to two or three buds.
