This would be awesome... a bit expensive for each pot, but cool none the less.

Pretty darn cool! Honest at the old place I had 6 water zones on auto and when I was close to finishing changing everything to inorganic I was able to narrow it down to two. Once setup here at the new place I will only need two so "if" I get into that type of technology I would only need two units not 50 - 100. Nice find and something for others to think about when planning their setups. ;)

I am thinking about it!
I do not know if it will work as good when in bonsai soil. If it does, I might get one sensor.
 
Ric, I doubt it would work w/ our porous soil.
Find a robo pruner now and all you need to do is look at them.
