Bonsai novice with this white pine, cult. Catherine Elizabeth on black pine stock. Would appreciate constructive suggestions for styling. Worried about future of inverse taper with habit of so many branches at a single junction. Thanks!

You already have some inverse taper from the first cluster of branches. That will increase if they all stay.
You can either choose to ignore it or reduce those branches.
Reducing branches on small trees like this means less bonsai but unfortunately there's no alternatives as far as I know, unless you chop the entire upper trunk and regrow from just 2 lower branches - long term project.

The picture appears to have been indoors. Hope you are not intending this one as an indoor bonsai? The drip tray under the pot might also cause longer term problems.

Yes, that's what I've been considering, can I live with it, or start the long term process. It's strictly kept outside, just brought it in to take the pic. I also know white pines don't like to be too wet, so I understand the tray issue. My wife bought me the pot as a gift; thought I'd use it for a year, and then put a bald Cypress i have where too much water won't be an issue. Thanks for your suggestions!
