De Nederlandse Bonsai Show (NBS) wordt dit jaar georganiseerd door de Bonsai Vereniging Apeldoorn.
Iedereen met interesse in bonsai wordt van harte uitgenodigd om aan dit tweedaagse evenement deel te nemen.

Programma
Zaterdag 21 september 2024 - 10.00 tot 18.00:
- 10.30 - 13.30 - New Talent Contest - De winnaar gaat Nederland vertegenwoordigen bij de Europese NTC.
- 13.30 - demo door Carlos van der Vaart

Zondag 22 september 2024 - 12.00 tot 17.00:
- 13.00 - demo's door Ron Hermeling - Bruno Wijman - Rijn Bécude

Op beide dagen zullen bonsai opstellingen te zien zijn van alle aangesloten Bonsai Verenigingen.
Daarnaast is er volop gelegenheid om bonsai en bonsai benodigdheden te kopen bij handelaren.

The Dutch Bonsai Show (NBS) is organized this year by the Bonsai Association Apeldoorn.
Anyone with an interest in bonsai is cordially invited to participate in this two-day event.

Saturday 21 September 2024 - 10.00 till 18.00:
- 10.30 - 13.30 - New Talent Contest. The winner will represent the Netherlands at the European NTC.
- 13.30 - demo by Carlos van der Vaart

Sunday 22 September 2024 - 12.00 till 17.00:
- 13.00 - demos by Ron Hermeling - Bruno Wijman - Rijn Bécude

Bonsai exhibits from all affiliated Bonsai Associations will be on display on both days.
In addition, there is plenty of opportunity to buy bonsai and bonsai supplies from traders.

I always wonder, how does one get to participate in NTC's?
Do you have to be a club member?

I'm not sure about it but I assume you need to be a member of one of the Dutch bonsai clubs and then you can probably sign up for the NTC.

I did participate [and won ] in Germany. In Germany you can be a private member of the German association and can sign up; Call is shared annually through the club leads.

I always wonder, how does one get to participate in NTC's?

In the Netherlands my Club is not a member of the national organization And afaik, if your club is not a member you cannot join the NTC. So you need to be a member of a club that is part of BCD

Too bad that we have the bonsai kreativ fest that weekend in Dusseldorf, a show by all German bonsai schools.
