Wow 30+ years later and some people still believe in trickle down economics...this may work if targeted toward small business which are usually struggling to pay the bills and could use the money for re-investment and growth. But for multinational corporations that are already sitting on billions of dollars won't do a damn thing. The rich will just invest in the stock market or buy some Prada. Better to reduce taxes on non rich individuals as most will spend it and so reinvest it into the economy thereby growing jobs.
Obama used executive orders as he was faced with an openly hostile congress that pledged to never pass anything because it came from him....what would you suggest? Trump used more EO's even though in theory he has a majority friendly congress. Although as we've seen Republicans are so used to obstructing and not governing that when they have the chance they can't govern their way out of a paper bag.

Real unemployment went from ~10% to 4.8% under Obama and from 4.8% to 4.2% under Trump (and still under Obama's 2017 budget). Which companies are coming back? Illegal alien traffic reduction will become much more apparent come summer next year when your grocery prices shoot up as there's no one to work in the fields...be careful what you wish for.

They'll hitch their wagon to a tired old theory like trickle-down, which has never worked (unless the goal was to further increase the wealth gap), yet they'll rant and rave against AGW which, though also a theory, is actually supported by the latest scientific research and nearly every country in the world. True enough, but Obama's 276 were spread over 8 years for an annual rate of 34.5, while Trump has amassed 52 in less than a year. So he's producing them at one and a half times the rate of Obama.

Funny you provide that link as support for your claim, as I had looked at it before making my post. Check out that graph they show. I don't see much evidence of a relationship between decreasing taxes for the top bracket, and federal revenue. According to the plot, revenue has been increasing pretty consistently for the past 50 years (except for a couple of drops after 2000). There's no change whatsoever in the rate of increase during the big tax breaks in the 80s. If that's what you're hanging your hat on, you better find another hook.

I really don't see how that demeanor can be good for luring investment and new business opportunities to the US....hell I (and i'm sure most of the world) have a daily struggle just to keep up the respect I used to have for the USA.
Its still flabbergasting to the world that the American system and people could allow someone like that to take the helm of that great country.
He's so used to bulldozing his way in business (because he had the backup of his empire), and now he's missusing the American resources to do the same thing to the world...well lines are being drawn and that attitude will only take him so far...

An infinity of universes means anything in any way possible to happen however unlikely will happen, has to happen in at least one of those infinite universes.
It's always been hard for anyone to provide any proof of concept. Until Trump actually really did became President of the USA! Probably the best bit of real observable evidence to support the multiverse theory yet.
