Dear forum

I bought a Deshojo 2.5 month ago. Im unsure about the amount of fertilizer i need to give it.

I was told to place 3 piles of biogold spread out with each pile having 5-6 pieces. So a total of 15-18 pieces of biogold. Then leave for a month and then place 3 extra piles of 5-6 pieces on the empty spots and leave the old fertilizer for another month.
The pot is only about 17x15 cm large

The guy who told me this was a local bonsai guru/entusiast. I was worried that it might be a bit too much fertilizer. I was told it wouldnt be too much because it was organic and wouldnt harm the tree.

After applying my tree has slowly and gradually begun showing brownage of the leaf tips. On the contrary its sprouting vigoriously all of a sudden (i didnt get any new growth the first month and a half or so)

I need advise on the amount of biogold for this pot size.

Do you keep this tree in full sun or shade? Looks like light sunburn or water issues to me more than a fertilizer problem. Though I do think that may be a bit much for a pot that size, i don't think that is the issue. I'm sure some pros will chime in.

Biogold pack says 1-3 pellets per litre

Every 4 weeks ish you can add another 1-3 pellets per litre but in a different place

And leave the old ones on

Organic fert is quite low strength so it is quite hard to overdose. I doubt that the tree is suffering any fertiliser overdose.
You have only had the tree a few months. Nothing else to indicate you have other bonsai so assume you are a complete beginner - if not please let us know your experience. The point being the brown leaf tips are almost certainly sunburn/dehydration. Managing water for trees in very small pots is NOT the same as watering a garden or larger pots. Also Japanese maples are very sensitive to any dry. Often just a hot, dry wind will burn the leaves.
The picture backgrounds appear to indicate outdoors? but probably a balcony? What direction does it face and what direct sun exposure does your tree get? How often do you water? So many variables to consider before we can make any diagnosis.
