Deodar cedrus, the good, the bad and the ugly

I'm currently reading Gnarly Branches and Ancient Trees. Dan Robinson would intentionally grow out branches in wired/twisted fashion, even if he intended them to be jinned later. If you DO intend to kill the top, I would suggest that you keep the branching for realism's sake.

Google Dan Robinson deadwood if you feel like it.
