Deck ‘Em.. C’mon... DO IT!

This is ONE area that Wisconsin...
Brats n beer aye.
Seems to be a staple up there, especially on the weekends, around but not limited to Milwaukee.
Bought my mom a new tree for Christmas this year...3 weeks ago. Is decorated for Autumn for now.

Oh yeah! Just the entire state. We Beer BATTER everything too... Beer-Battered Jalapeno/Jack LOGS! Mmmmm..

As far as crazy Wisconsin “Stick People” go , Milwaukee area is the tip of the IceBerg...

Get’s Crazier (In THAT particular aspect) the further north you go... Surrounding states, as well as “The UP” and Canada can ESPECIALLY attest to this. 🤓

Ever seen an outdoor “Christmas Tree” (PLACED in the front yard) Decorated with squirrel-skins, Busch cans and varying shotgun shells? 🤣🤦🏽‍♂️

The UP!
I miss it.
I worked up there for a few years.
Mostly In Pictured Rocks, and Isle Royale, part of me will always miss the Big Lake. Sometimes it seems there is still a bit of old Gitchee Gumi in my soul. I know I left some blood up there.

Mostly In Pictured Rocks
I loved the colour of the rocks up there from the minerals and the bluish water.
I put this slideshow together 6 yrs ago and love the rootage on the tree just before the waterfall.
There's some really awesome videos from within the ice caves via snowmobile up there looking out
from the rocks over the frozen part of Lake Michigan.
Nice memory:)

Yep,
But hey, Lake Michigan is nice too.
...and can you imagine a red neck West Virginian trying to learn to water ski
behind a 14' Astroglass bass boat on Lake Erie? In 3' waves??? My 1 armed uncle had to circle back around and tell
me to let go or the rope when I go down 🤣 I got the hang of that part by the 3rd time. Never did learn.
Love the UP but a long road and a lot of trees pass by getting there.

That’s funny, it is a small world.
When I left Michigan I moved to West Virginia. Some beautiful country there too.
I eventually settled across the Potomac in Boonsboro, Maryland but drove back for work.

So how do you keep a 6 month old cat from chewing the lightbulbs on your tree?
Heard a pop and a playful scatter, jumped up to see it batting a broken pc of glass across the floor:mad:
Will try some cat repellant spray, lost the bottle, but fixin to order a brand new tree this evening.
We've had our realistic Blue Spruce nearly 20 yrs now.

I’m a VERY strong “spray-bottle” training advocate.

Yeh we've worn the last one out on the cute loving never minding feline.
+ it's on a hardwood floor I don't like getting wet. I put almost 6000 nails in when I installed it.
We have that no kitty double sided sticky tape on a leather love seat,
and my speaker socks. Yeh that's what Acoustat calls called their speaker covers - socks.
Like a door with black cloth covering it ya know. You're right, but when you're not standing there
it's free reign. He's never seen a Christmas tree. I do have a wall anchor in the ceiling over it
so it's not going to tumble when he jungle gyms it. Looking at a Biltmore tree, but hate spending
that kind of $$ if it's gonna get the prelim lights chewed out.
