Today I started a root over rock planting from a small cutting from my Crape Myrtle. All of the cuttings took root in 10 days or so and sprouted tons of aerial roots, which gave me the idea for the small style. So I plucked this one, teased the roots, wrapped them down a rock I found in my new back yard, and potted it up. I should see roots through the translucent milk jug and know when it's taken.

Nice roots for a couple months

The sauce and the rock

Wrapped, moistened and taped

Planted up and tied down.
