Crack pots

It reminds me of something, but i can't pin it down.

Of course the blue doesnt help but i'm thinking roast lamb, the fat in the pan congealed and floating in washing-up liquid.

But it's a sort of wishy-washy recognition,almost a likeness but not quite.

And such an intriguing shape too,it kind of begs the question as to what you gonna grow in it?

Klytus- are you thinking of an African three-legged pot?

The texture looks like a marshmallow, that has been burned in a bonfire, then cooled enough to eat.

Cool pots ketoi, I'll add what to grow in them isn't necessary, these would look good on the shelf by themselves. Everyone has lots of extra pots don't they?

Hi Keith,

I see you are still working with that light colored clay body.

I like the first pot and the third pot. They have good contrast and good balance.

I don't care much for the second pot though. The texture is good. However, the rim and foot ring do not match very well. I think if you had made the rim heavier this would have been a great pot.

Cheers,
Paul

Thanks Paul,
I thought the rim was a bit to skimpy, and you confirmed it.
