So I took the straps off as the wind has finally gone, get home to a oak elm on the floor out of its pot. No breakages just soil and roots showing. We think a cat maybe !!!
So emergency pot back into its pot minus the worm it had in the pot..... Disaster so early in my hobby.
Hope it will be ok ??

I think it’ll be ok, depending upon if it was just what you say. I’ve had them fall over a good few times, it’s no big thing, don’t worry
Yeah it fell a couple feet, fell out of pot and got rained on so the soil was all over the place, it turned out to be quite a muddy soil too so it's now recovering in some good draining soil mix @ConorDash

Rub buds off for directional growth. Yes, but it's an elm, probably put a bud out right where you rubbed off.....
