I picked this up at the local nursery and re-potted it in a 12"x12"x6" cedar box I made. The box was large enough that I only combed out the roots around the periphery and trimmed about an inch off the bottom of the root ball to fit it into the box, leaving the rootball about 90% intact. The re-pot happened about 3 weeks ago with Soil Mender bonsai soil (pictured). I haven't done anything else except water it. I'm in the high-desert plains of NM in zone 7b, and it's been in the 60-70s for the last couple of weeks, with a freeze down to 25 degrees forecasted for next week. Hopefully, that will be the last freeze of the year.

Can anyone give me some guidance on what I should do now? Prune, shape, or leave it alone and wait for another season?

You've done a gentle repot, but I’d still give it a full season to thrive before doing anything more.
