I'm tempted to get one to plant in the ground here in Maine. It might make it... I'm 5a on the border of 6b, but it might be 6b by now, who knows.

Sounds good! I ordered two of the $20 ones - we'll see!

Bought 2 7 seedling cuttings. Should be fun to see them grow. I have plenty of pine but these seem like good deal and I don't have any seedling cutting yet.

The smaller ones will be thick as the $30 ones by end of season…….will take wire quite nicely now too the $10&$15 ones…..nice slender look to them now

WHY SEPERATE???……..just curious, had a few ask if these can be seperated.

Personally I think these are fascinating just the way they are……are tremendously vigorous an growing by the hour.Inreased chance of branching as a one and when protected wired together at the base fused together will be almost 2” base next season🤔
They are beautiful in the sun today

each they’re own though.

I want to keep them together , so I’ll remove from the small container next season once it’s fused , and pot it up

When are the singles and the JRP gonna get posted?

I can post the singles in a day or so…..anly about 12 of them.
The Red Pine are a special new thing si I am going to grow on a bit longer in the co2 and outdoors for another mnth!!!
I will certainly get a jbp and jrp single as well

I apologize people.Crop failure last evening with the Red Pines.

Doing a double shift next to a night shift and snoozing became priority.
Funny the decisions one can make when a little drowsey 🤔

I am schooling in the healthcare profession and got a bit ragged I guess.
3 1/2 wks more school and I will have a nice schedule with more home time and am planning a structure build eventually for an ebb& flo hydroponic operation……fully automated……looking forward to it actually!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol

thanks….will definately have a Spring crop of red pines✌️

Ordered a couple the other day that are on their way. Sorry if this has already been asked, but any thoughts on transitioning from rockwool to inorganic soil? Was thinking of just putting the cubes directly into colanders with some lava and pumice but I'm not sure if I should be trying to get rockwool out of the nebari sooner rather than later.
