Late spring, 2018. Should have worked on this a month ago. But better late than never.

I think you know the drill (at least my drill).

1) Remove old leaves on extending shoots, but leave the younger leaves on. This allows light and air into the interior. If there are weak interior shoots, leave them alone and don’t remove any leaves.

6) prune back the shoots growing to strongly and leave the growing tips on the shoots you’d like to thicken.

Done for now. Just watch the wires. They’ll start to cut in in a few weeks.

That one I kinda circled in red:

Either it needs to be bent up to not cross, or cut off.
